This book presents 46 of those memorable motorcars in detailed, accurate line drawings rendered by a noted Swedish firm of technical illustrators. Produced by American and European manufacturers from 1902 to 1953, the cars include these time-honored vehicles: "Seventy Panhard" (1902); Rolls-Royce 40/50 Silver Ghost (1910); Morris Oxford (1913); Model T Ford (1924); Hispano-Suiza 37.2 (1928); Lincoln Phaeton (1929); Oldsmobile Viking (1929/30); M. G. Type M (1930); Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow (1933); Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica (1934); Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B (1938); Packard (1940); Cadillac (1941); Jaguar XK 120 (1949); and many more.
The illustrations are presented in chronological order, enabling colorists and car buffs to trace the technical and stylistic development of the automobile from around the turn of the century to the early 1950s.
