All requests to use or acquire rights to material should be emailed to our Rights and Permissions Department, rights@doverpublications.com.
Editorial Submissions
Please note that we do not accept submissions for original fiction, music, or poetry. Dover welcomes all other submissions. However, due to the large volume of unsolicited manuscripts that arrive at our editorial department, we regret that we cannot return any materials submitted. Therefore, we urge you to send only copies of art and printed matter that can remain in our files indefinitely. The review process can take a long time and we will contact only those whose work may be considered for publication; please do not contact our editorial department for a reply.

In the case of non-fiction book proposals, we prefer an outline, table of contents, and one sample chapter, if available (a complete manuscript is not necessary).

We do not accept submissions via email.
